You don’t think about your Earth Drill & Auger when it’s doing its job right. It just drills, clears, and keeps pace with the machine. That’s exactly how it should be. Reliable equipment makes a long day a little easier. #earth #drill #excavator #auger #operator #augertorque #construction #drilling #fencing #agriculture

Standard loader forks do a good job moving uniform material. The problem is that job sites aren't all the same. Our Top Clamp Loader Forks add a hydraulic top clamp to your existing fork setup so you can hold irregular material without losing it on the way to the stack. Logs, brush bundles, pipe, lumber — material that shifts and slides on a standard fork stays put with the clamp down. We had these on a machine at B & G Equipment, Inc. in Mississippi a few weeks ago. Curious to how they'll look on your machine? Give us a call 800-419-8090 #loader #fork #top #clamp #hydraulic #log #brush #pipe #lumber #construction #landscaping #landclearing #forestry #farming

A lot of Earth Drill augers look similar until you watch how they actually cut. The constant spiral design keeps each tooth making a fresh cut on every rotation. That means better spoil flow, less clogging, and a smoother drilling process from start to finish.

We have had people call us after going through two or three cheap thumbs in a single year. By the time they add up the downtime, the replacement cost, and the labor to pull and reinstall, they would have bought a Solesbee's thumb twice over. Nobody talks about total cost of ownership in this industry the way they should. You might see a cheaper price tag elsewhere and think you're saving money. "I just need a regular ol' thumb, this'll do," you say to yourself. Come back to that thought after your second or third replacement and add up the downtime with it. The math always points back to us.

𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐎𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐚𝐤𝐞 1. Most operators running an excavator rake on a clearing job are sequencing their attachments wrong, and it's adding haul cycles they don't need. Run the rake first. Work it through the material to separate roots from soil and windrow the debris before you ever touch the bucket. That alone changes how many passes you're making per acre. 2. The other thing that kills production mid-job is tine failure. It's not random. Solesbee's sizes and spaces tines based on the machine's operating weight and digging force, so when the rake hits buried rock or hardpack, the frame absorbs it before the tines give. The right rake for the right machine doesn't fail the same way an undersized one does. 3. Finally, if you're making a separate grading pass after debris removal, adjust your deck angle and slow your swing. The rake pulls debris forward, tips it at the windrow, and leaves a clean grade behind it. One fewer cycle per pass is real time saved across a full day on a large site. Decisions that look like small differences on paper tend to show up very clearly in daily production numbers.
